On 12 November, CircleMED partner SERDA gathered representatives and owners of start-up companies from various economic sectors – the textile, metal, and wood industries – at its premises in Sarajevo for the CircleMED Future Lab meeting.
The meeting provided extremely valuable insights and participants shared their experiences on the challenges and opportunities in transitioning toward a circular economy. Through interactive activities, the participants explored how many “R”s we can associate with the concept of circularity: Rethink, Reuse, Repair, Recycle … and many more.
Participants also had the opportunity to try an engaging game that demonstrates, in a practical way, how our everyday choices impact resources, waste, and sustainability – inspired by concepts developed through the European initiative CircleMED.
The results of the meeting were already productive food for thoughts for the 👚 FASHION IS NOT WASTE event on 13 November: a synergy with ♻️ GREEN TEX project, discussing circularity concepts, and present the activities and goals of the Future Lab.
